US Customs / Tariff Changes – UPDATE

Important shipping update for U.S. customers

As of Aug 29, 2025 the U.S. has ended the de minimis exemption. This means all parcels (even small ones) entering the U.S. may be subject to customs duties and import fees, which can add charges at delivery and cause longer delivery times.

What you may see after your order enters the US:

  • Customs duties (tariffs): vary by product and HTS code. Recent U.S.–EU agreements put a ~15% baseline on many EU/German goods (Our spray is made in Germany). Reuters

  • Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF): informal release fees apply per shipment (automated informal fee ≈ $2.69); GovDelivery+1

  • Carrier / customs-broker fees: carriers and brokers will add clearance/brokerage, disbursement and handling fees (these commonly range roughly $10–$20 or more depending on carrier/service level).

Because the change is new and the volume of parcels needing formal processing has jumped, you may experience longer-than-usual customs clearance times and delivery delays. Reuters+1
